Clarita M. Ortega, 92, of Millersville, MD, died May 2, 2014 in Glen Burnie, MD. Born and raised in the Philippines she moved to Maryland in 1990. She loved to spend time with her family and friends playing cards and especially cooking. She always loved to travel and see new places. She is an active member of The Joy in the Spirit Prayer group of St. John Evangelist Roman Cathloic Church in Severna Park, MD

She is pre deceased by her Husband Ret. Col., Philippine Army, Medical Corps Alfredo Ortega, Sr. and her son Alfredo Ortega, Jr.

She is survived by her children; Johnny Ortega (Cherie), Normalyn Rodriquez (the late Arthur), Myrna Ortega, MD ( Renato Flores, MD), Eric Ortega (Emilyn) and Rey Vicente Ortega. Loving Grandmother of 14 and Great Grandmother of 15.

Friends may visit on Wednesday May 7, 2014 from 6-9:00pm and Thursday May 8, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-9:00 pm at the Barranco & Sons P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 9, 2014 at 11:00 am in the St. John Roman Catholic Church 689 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146.
