Clarence E. Buchheister, 92, a resident of Severna Park, passed away on June 26, 2018, at his home.

He was born on August 10, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was raised and attended St. Andrew's School and Essex Community College. He retired from the United States Navy and was employed as a Baltimore City Firefighter, until his retirement.

He was a member of Fleet Reserve in Annapolis.

Clarence enjoyed long walks with the dogs and reading, especially all things history.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Buchheister; his mother, Estelle McCarron; two sons, William Buchheister, and Gregory Buchheister.

He is survived by his two sons, David Buchheister ( Teresa), John Buchheister (Nick); daughter-in- law, Charlotte; granddaughter, Karen Buchheister;  grandson, Nathan Buchheister; grandson, Curtis Buchheister; and granddaughter, Megan Buchheister.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, following the visitation. The interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
