August 23, 1912 – September 8, 2004
Clara Louisa Olson Gilliam, 92, a resident of Arnold since May 2003, and formerly of Annapolis, died Sept. 8 at FutureCare Chesapeake after an 18-month illness.
Born and reared in Philadelphia, she had lived in Toms River, N.J.
She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, gardening and collecting donkey figurines.
On Feb. 17, 1939, she married John M. Gilliam, who died in 1979.
Surviving are one son, Henry A. Gilliam of Annapolis; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 18 at Divine Peace Lutheran Church in Largo. Burial is private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home in Severna Park.
