Claire Phyllis Bieberich (nee Dailey), 88, a 48 year resident of Severna Park, died on March 24, 2010 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, of heart failure after a brief illness.

She was born on November 1, 1921 in Baltimore, MD, where she was raised, and graduated from Seton High School. She previously lived in Gallup, New Mexico from 1957 to 1962, before residing in Severna Park from 1962-2010.

Mrs. Bieberich worked for Hutzler's Department Store and Garfinkels Department Store.

She was a devoted mother of six children.

She was preceded in death by her late husband of 58 years, Edward J. Bieberich, whom she married in 1941; her parents, Elsie Muhlhan Dailey and Charles Dailey; sisters, Helen Berger and Elsie Dailey; and daughter, Carol Bieberich Snyder.

Survivors include her children, Mr. J. Ronald Bieberich of Severna Park, Mr. E. Bradley Bieberich of Annapolis, Mr. J. Mark Bieberich of Gambrills, Mr. R. Grant Bieberich of San Francisco, and Mr. D. Bruce Bieberich of Harwood; two sisters, Elaine Maisel of Catonsville and Mildred Girton of Arbutus; one brother, Charles P. Dailey of Stevensville, MD; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, March 29, 2010 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, March 30 at 12:00 pm at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Interment will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, MD.
