Christopher John Joyce Jr, beloved husband of Carol Fasick Joyce, died peacefully on Easter Sunday after a valiant eight month battle.



Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Enis and Christopher Joyce of Kingston, MA. In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his sister Kathryn Joyce of Boston, two step children Hannah and Ches Fasick of Severna Park, and many loving cousins, friends and colleagues.



Chris enjoyed a long and distinguished career of over 30 years with E & J Gallo Winery, working directly with Ernest Gallo, and succeeding generations, that included Joe Gallo and Gina Gallo. Chris's most recent role was managing the family's portfolio within the Charmer Sunbelt Group, Gallo's largest distributor partner.



Chris relished his work and life; he embraced both with his own unique enthusiasm. He was larger than life, he was loved and respected by all who knew him.



Chris met the challenges of his illness with grace, determination, and dignity. The family wishes to thank the many talented and caring doctors and nurses who aided Chris in his determined battle while at TheBaltimore Washington Medical Center and University of MD Medical Center.



Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 2-6 on Sunday, April 15th 2012 at the Barranco Funeral Home located at 495 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, Maryland.
