Christine "Mitzy" McLellan, 53, of Halethorpe, passed away on March 1, 2016 at University of Maryland Medical Center.
She was born on March 8, 1962 in Framingham, MA and raised in Ashland, MA where she graduated from Ashland Senior High School. She later moved to Arnold in 1978. Mitzy was a social worker for local nursing homes. She loved reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is the loving mother of Jennifer Leigh McLellan of Hopkinton, MA, James Andrew McLellan of Worcester, MA and William Wallace of Palatka, FL; cherished daughter of William and Frances Wallace of Pasadena, MD; dear sister of Sharon Wallace of Henderson, NC, William Wallace III of Bethesda, MD, Bryan Wallace of Mount Airy, MD, James Wallace of Pasadena, MD, Michael Wallace of Dundalk, MD, Beverly Wallace of Pasadena, MD and Gayle Verreault of Severna Park, MD; and the devoted grandmother of Jason and Elana.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering at Barranco & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, March 4th from 2-4 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 4pm.
