Christina Lynn Schenck, 14, died of cancer on Saturday August 13, 2016 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.

Christina was born on February 12, 2002 in Baltimore and raised in Glen Burnie. She attended Chesapeake Science Point School in Hanover. Christina was an active member of Grace Pointe Community Church of the Nazarene, where she participated in Youth Group, Bible Quizzing and Upward Basketball.

Christina worked with her family at the Chick-fil-A in Severna Park. She enjoyed photography, crafting and animals, especially her dog, Sophie. Christina was kindhearted, caring and always wearing a smile. She loved on others all through her fight with Leukemia. Christina was a strong believer. Our loss is heavens gain. If we could see her now, we would not wish her back. What joy awaits us all!

Christina is survived by her parents, Chris and Theresa Schenck, sisters, Tiffany Strawbridge and Leah Schenck, grandparents, Patricia Hall, Don and Vicki Hall, Grace Ann and Bob Rau and Bill and Margie Schenck.

Family and Friends may attend a Visitation at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Friday, August 19th, from 5-8 pm.

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, August 20th at 4 pm at the Grace Pointe Community Church of the Nazarene, 61 Gambrills Road, Severn.
