Cheryl Scott Venizelos, 68, passed at her home on July 14, 2017. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Roger and Doris Ringrose on February 15, 1949. Cheryl was known throughout Anne Arundel County from her years of bartending at the Wooden Nickel (Pasadena), Severna Park Inn and the Szechuan Inn (Severna Park).  She retired from her position as Vice President of Cheryl's Chalets, Inc., in 2006.  She loved boating and RV'ing with her husband of 43 years Bill Venizelos (Wilbur) and their dog Ruby.  She also enjoyed spending her time at home with her grandchildren and doing home design.

She was proceeded in death by her parents and brothers Roger Ringrose and Ronald Ringrose.  She is survived by her son Joseph Scott, siblings Judie Zanti, Randy Ringrose, Rick Ringrose and Ryan Ringrose step children Gina Venizelos, Maria Venizelos, Billy Venizelos III, Kim Roberts and Tammy Brafa. Her beloved granddaughter Stacey Scott and 19 additional grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Her God Daughter, Shani Ullrich, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was loved by everyone who knew her for her kind and gentle heart.  She was a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and confidant.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 3pm to 6pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the visitation at 6pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Retts Syndrome Organization, 4600 Devitt Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45246.
