Cheryl died Friday August 29th at home. She is a native of Woodward, Oklahoma but lived in Millersville, Md for 40+ years. she retired from the government after 33 years. In 1983 she married Rex Mayfield. It was a second marriage for both but lasted 43 years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Glen Burnie and was involved with the Emmaus community of the Eastern Shore.

She is survived by her husband Rex; her son Christopher Brent Crabbtree; 2 step sons David E. Mayfield and Brian S. Mayfield and his wife Ellen. She had 3 grandchildren. Patrick (21) Lily (17) Reagan (11). In addition she has 2 step grandchildren Devon (31) and her husband Andre, John (25) his wife Kristen. With 2 great grandchildren Hazel (4) Kasen (8 months).

Funeral services for Mrs. Cheryl Jean Boggs Mayfield 76, of Millersville, viewing will be from 10-12am with service to follow at 12 at Barranco Funeral Home in Severna Park. Rev Steve Willing officiating. Burial will be in the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
