On January 21, 2011, Charlotte A. Zilke, of Severna Park, age 69, passed away after years of battling chronic lung disease of a cardiac arrest. She is survived by a loving husband, 6 children, 8 grandchildren and several others whose lives she touched and nurtured. She has been raising children for over 50 years, some her own and some by way of childcare or assisting at the Wee center. Children were very important to her throughout her life.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146 with services to follow at 12:00pm. Interment in Lakemont Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Davidsonville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, Severna Park Baptist Church or Wee Center Scholarship Program.
