Charles W. Keyton, Sr. passed away on December 4, 2019. He was born to Lillian (Heim) and Samuel Keyton on February 22, 1927.
Charles previously lived in Linthicum and graduated from Glen Burnie High School. He was most recently a resident of Severn, MD. Charles was the owner of an Amoco Service Station.
He loved mechanics, gardening, baseball, chess, reading and was an amateur historian.
Charles is survived by his loving daughter, Nancy L. Brewer (Douglas) of Annapolis; his grandson, Ray M. Hatfield (Andrea), of Pasadena; his great granddaughter, Delaney Hatfield, of Pasadena; his great grandson, Brennan Hatfield, of Pasadena; his granddaughter, Karen S. Barley (Robert) of Chincoteague, VA; his great grandsons, Austin Barley and Hunter Barley of Chincoteague, VA; his sister, Mildred Altland, of Hanover, PA; his brother, Kenneth Keyton, of Fort Charlotte, FL; his brother Melvin Keyton, of Hagerstown, MD and his brother Ronald Keyton, of Bunker Hill, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Gloria Keyton; his son, Charles W. Keyton, Jr.; and his brothers Lloyd Keyton, Herald Keyton and James Keyton.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:00am at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral service will be held following the visitation and will begin at 11:00 am at the funeral home. The interment will take place at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
