Charles Spaulding Jenkins, Jr., 77, a resident of Millersville, passed away on November 13, 2017 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

He was born on August 18, 1940 in Newport, VT, raised in Saratoga Springs, NY, and graduated from Saratoga High School and Norwich University.  He previously lived in Albany, NY; Baldwinsville, NY; Wexford, PA; and Millersville, MD. He married his wife, Patricia on June 26, 1976.

Charles served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1969, during the Vietnam War and was employed as a Lubrication Engineer for Mobil Oil Corp.

He enjoyed computers, playing poker, and loved sailing.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Jenkins of Millersville, MD; one son, Craig Jenkins of Annapolis, MD; one daughter, Tina Jenkins of Rochester, WA; sister-in-law, Joan Hajduk (Barney) of Lenox, MA; brother-in-law, Joe Kraus (Susan) of Tucson, AZ; three nieces; and three nephews.
