Charles Fix
Charles "David" Fix Jr., 67, a 34-year resident of Severna Park, died of natural causes Jan. 23 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mr. Fix was born Sept. 20, 1939, in Baltimore and graduated from Forest Park High School. He served as a staff sergeant in the Army during the Vietnam War. Most recently, he was a refrigeration technician with the Coca Cola Co.
He was a lifetime member of the Pasadena Moose and a member of American Legion Post 277 and Ferndale Community Club. A carver of wooden ducks, he also enjoyed fishing and boating.
Among his survivors are his wife, Darlene F. Fix; one son, Eric Jarvis of Ellicott City; two stepsons, Jack Thomas of Severna Park and Ray Weaver of Pasadena; one brother, Stephen Fix of Lothian; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday.
