Charles A.G. Dehne, 96, a 41-year resident of Severna Park, died on February 10, 2009 of heart failure, after a brief illness, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, in Glen Burnie.

He was born February 26, 1912 in Baltimore, MD, where he was raised.

Mr. Dehne was a member of the Severna Park Elks and a member of Woods Presbyterian Memorial Church in Severna Park. He enjoyed taking care of his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was an avid shuffleboard and pinochle player.

He was preceded in death by his late wife, Elsie Hattie Frieda Dehne and his late daughter, Barbara C. Sibley.

Survivors include one son, Ronald C. Dehne of Essex. MD; two sisters, Elva Ruggiano of Tampa Bay, FL and Doris Priebe of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren, Brian Sibley, Kevin Sibley, Donna Erb, Bridgette Dehne, and Veronica Purkey; and nine great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, February 15, from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 16 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
