IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles J.
Cirelli
September 1, 1932 – November 29, 2023
Charles John Cirelli "Charlie", 91, passed away on November 29th, 2023, peacefully in his home in Annapolis, MD, surrounded by loved ones. Charlie is survived by his four daughters, Barbara Leone, Joyce Wallace, Mary Bueneman, Lucia Hollabaugh; and ten grandchildren, Justin Leone, Matthew Leone, Lynn Favoretto, Kristina Cole, Lauren Wallace, Scott Wallace Jr., Charles Bueneman, Leah Bueneman, Brooke Hollabaugh, and Shelby Hollabaugh; as well as four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Trionfo Fazio; his wife, Martha Lamparski Cirelli; and son, John Charles Cirelli.
Charles was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1951, he married the love of his life, Martha, to whom he was a devoted and loving husband for 68 years. As a very young man, he embarked on an early career as a mason and quickly became a successful General Contractor, building a multitude of schools and municipal buildings within the tri-state area. Charles was a successful commercial real estate developer who built a significant and enduring legacy for his family.
Charles was an avid fisherman and boater who greatly enjoyed his waterfront home in Annapolis and his winters in Florida with loved ones, where he created indelible memories for a lifetime.
Without a doubt, Charlie was the loving patriarch of his family, and of paramount importance to him was their wellbeing, which he attended to with great care.
Most notably, Charles was known for his keen wit, humor, and infectious laughter. He was a kind and loving and prayerful man with a heart of gold, always giving with an open heart and his uniquely selfless generosity. His last words to us were, "I love you more," leaving us with a twinkle in his eye.
