Charles L. Brown, 92, a resident of Pasadena, died on December 12, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.
He was born on October 6, 1919 in Baltimore, MD where he was raised, and moved to Severna Park over 58 years ago.

Charles was a retired Chemist for David Research Center in Annapolis, MD and also taught chemistry for Anne Arundel Community College.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Normandy Invasion. He enjoyed traveling, wine making, photography, tennis, and was a member of a hiking club.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Brown.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Kathy Fowler (Steve) of Pasadena; two grandchildren, Pamela Duncan of Pasadena and Steve Fowler (Jamie) of Severna Park; and one great grandchild, Alexis Duncan of Pasadena.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 3-7 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 10:00 am in Pasadena United Methodist Church, 61 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122. Interment will be in MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
