IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles B.
Boyer
June 17, 1939 – February 15, 2019
Charles Bryant Boyer passed peacefully on February 15, 2019 at the age of seventy-nine. Born on a farm in Pasadena, Maryland on June 17, 1939, he was the youngest of 12 children. Predeceased by his parents, Frank J. Boyer, Sr. and Virginia E. Hirsch Boyer, eight brothers, three sisters, and Nancy Beasley Boyer, his first wife and the mother of his children; he is survived by numerous family and friends who will continue to hold him in their hearts.
Bryant, as his wife Nancy called him, was a person who believed in work, bravery, and love of country. After high school he served two years in the Army and was stationed in Northern Italy. During this time he traveled extensively, learned to speak Italian, ski, and made many friends. He came home and married his high-school sweetheart, Nancy Beasley. The pair developed a small farm on a piece of land on the original Boyer family property. Here he and his wife trained racehorses, fostered lion and tiger cubs, and enjoyed some success breeding and showing English Mastiffs. A civil engineer by trade, he fit his adventures between long hours of work. He was a loving father to two daughters. Later in life, he greatly enjoyed spending time with his two granddaughters and was an active member of the Greensboro Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday February 23, 2019 from 2:00pm-4:00pm with a Memorial service to start at 4:00pm in the Barranco & Sons P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146.
