Charles "Chuck" Anthony Merson, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.

Chuck was born to Charles A. Merson and Evelyn Merson (nee Dorrell) on January 17, 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was raised in Cape St. Claire and attended Cape St. Claire Elementary, Magothy Middle School and graduated from Severna Park High School.

Chuck lived in Tennessee in the 90's before making his way back to Maryland. He worked as a Car Salesman and was a member of the American Legion Post # 175 S.A.L. Chuck loved karaoke, bowling, singing, telling jokes and was a Cowboys, Ravens and Orioles fan. He also loved keeping in touch with his many friends on Facebook.

Chuck is survived by his loving mother, Evelyn M. Merson of Annapolis, MD; his sister Melanie A. Cadle (Eddie) of Arnold, MD; his son, Charles "Chad" A. Merson, III; 9 nieces and nephews; and 9 great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Charles A. Merson, of Annapolis, MD, who passed away in 2012 and by his sister Cynthia A. Cardosi (James) of Florida, who passed away in 2008.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at Barranco and Sons Funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Pkwy, Annapolis, MD 21409.
