Cecilia Marie Mauck, 92, passed away on February 17, 2025.

She was born on March 5,1932 to John B. Schrider and Mary V. (nee Lynch) Schrider in Laytonsville, MD. She was raised in Silver Spring, MD and attended Academy of the Holy Names High School and Montgomery College. She was a life-long Catholic, and she was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Silver Spring, MD.

She lived in Edgewater, MD, St. Petersburg, FL, and Silver Spring, MD throughout her life. Cecilia worked for the U.S. Federal Government, specifically the Department of Commerce. She enjoyed playing golf and bridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Mauck, her daughter Theresa Kendall, and her four sisters and five brothers. She is survived by her daughters Jaclyn Cusick (William) and Colleen McGrew (Eugene, deceased), two grandchildren, William Jr. (Danielle) and Stephanie, two great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Joyce Schrider (Alfred, deceased) and niece-in-law Susan Mauck (Michael).

She will be laid to rest with her husband privately at Crownsville Veteran's Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd., Crownsville MD, 21032.
