Catherine A. Sheckells, 82, a resident of Arnold for over 50 years, passed away on January 11, 2017 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

She was born on March 30, 1934 in Maryland. Catherine was a homemaker and enjoyed going to flea markets, doing crafts, flower arranging and loved gardening.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Sheckells and her late son, Matthew Sheckells.

Catherine is survived by her daughters, Debra Brown of Glen Burnie, Cathy Jones of FL, Trish Hoey (Mike) of Glen Burnie, and Carrie Cribb (Marty) of PA; six grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 1:00 pm -3:00 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park, where a Memorial Service will be begin at 3:00 pm, after the Visitation. Interment will be private.
