Catherine Winkelmeyer Seibert (nee Trimble), 95, a resident of Pasadena, died on April 22, 2010 at Marley Neck Home, due to natural causes.


She was born December 6, 1914 in Baltimore, raised in Pasadena, and graduated from Towson State Teachers College.


She was a member of the Maryland State Teacher's Association and taught in elementary schools throughout Anne Arundel County.


Mrs. Seibert enjoyed crocheting and bowling and was a member of Pasadena United Methodist Church.


She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Harry Winkelmeyer, who died in 1961 and Milton Seibert who died in 1994; late parents, Wilmer and Mary Trimble; her late sisters, Elizabeth Arkuszeski, Irene Miller, Alice Arpaia, Morva Hamalainen; her late brother, John Trimble; and her late daughter, Carole Listman.


Survivors include her children, Jerry Winkelmeyer of Greenboro, MD, Joy Williams of Athens, WV, Richard Seibert of Pasadena, MD, Norman Seibert of Bedford, PA, and Jerry Seibert of Arbutus, MD; her sister, Ella Smith; sixteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.


Family and friends may visit on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy,21146. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday (April 26, 2010) at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
