Catherine M. Schriver, 87, residing at Tranquillity at Fredericktowne, Frederick, MD died peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2017.  She also resided in Arnold, MD, Baltimore, MD and was born in Aliquippa, PA to the late Charles Schriver, Sr. and Mayme Schriver on April 7, 1929.  Catherine is survived by her chosen family Joan and Harold Hoffman, Jr, much loved granddaughter, A. Nichole Hoffman and three great grandchildren, Hailey, Cole and Morgan.  She will be missed by her lifelong friends Blanche and Henry (Bunk) Rey and also friends Phyllis and Glenn Hilton.  Family and friends called her Sis. Others called her Cathy, Cass, and Casey.  She was a loving, caring friend and will be missed by many.

After many years of employment by the Food Employers Labor Relation Association and United Food and Commercial Workers Union in Baltimore, Sis retired in 1989.  She loved her home and enjoyed providing sweets to the neighbors' children.

Sis was preceded in death by her Father Charles Schriver, Sr., Mother Mayme Schriver, Step-Father Bernard Schrodetski, Brothers Edward Schriver and Charles Schriver, Jr. and wife Betsy.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park, where a funeral service will begin at 12:30 pm on Saturday.
