Carolyn Farr Lynch, a long time resident of Arnold & Annapolis, died on July 9, 2010 at Tate Hospice House in Linthicum.
She was born Jan. 24, 1927 in Thomson, GA.
Carolyn graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Southern Business University in Georgia.
Carolyn was the Founder and Director of the Hilltop Play School in Arnold from 1962 to 1968. She was a licensed real estate agent in the State of Maryland in 1968. She was Program Director of the YMCA of Annapolis in the late 70's.
She enjoyed flower arranging, painting, dance, and travel.
Mrs. Lynch is survived by her sons, Derick Lynch of Arnold, Cary Lynch of Baltimore, and Michael Lynch of Severna Park; as well as her six grandchildren, Chaz, Andy, Kelly, Jason, Ryan, and Jamie.
A memorial visitation will be held at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requested contributions to be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 11350 McCormick Road, Hunt Valley, MD 21031 and the Tate Hospice House, 817 Camp Meade Road, Linthicum, MD 21090.
