Carolyn Sparks Kokalis passed away on July 24, 2021 at her home in Catonsville.

Carolyn was born on June 14, 1945 to Beatrice (nee Harrison) and Earl Sparks, Jr. in Bedford, MA, where she was also raised.

After receiving her bachelor's degree, she went on to work as an Analyst in the U.S. Government. Carolyn loved reading books, playing bridge and spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Sassy. She also enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her sons, Jeremy Kokalis (Lisa), of Jupiter, FL, Darren Kokalis (Shelley) of Severna Park, MD, and David Kokalis (Erica), of Curtis Bay, MD ; and three grandchildren, Alexa, Addy and Morgan.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. Service and interment are private.
