Carole B. Fairley, a longtime resident of Arnold, passed away on October 26, 2021.

She was born to Helen (Kenneally) and Charles H. Bartel on April 20, 1939 in Baltimore, MD. Carole was raised in Baltimore County and graduated from the class of 1957 at Catonsville High School.

She worked at various offices including: C &P Telephone Company, Annapolis Banking and Trust Co., The United States Naval Academy, Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Office, The U.S. Government Printing Office, NeighborCare Pharmacy and Sam's Club. Carole loved her dachshunds and enjoyed bowling, baking, crosswords and word finds, and eating steamed crabs.

Carole was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, William C. Fairley. She is survived by her daughter, Jill Fairley of Arnold; her daughter, Karen Fairley of Gettysburg, PA; her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Akers, of Gettysburg, PA; her granddaughter, Amaya Fairley, of Arnold; her grandson, Makai Fairley, of Arnold; her brother, Charles Bartel, of Ellicott City; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 1, 2021 at 1:00pm at the funeral home. The interment will follow the service and take place at Meadowridge Memorial Gardens, 250 W ashington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075 .
