Carole Ann Baldwin was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and faithful follower of Jesus Christ.  She left this world on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the age of 80.

She was born to Robert and Faye Haught on January 10, 1943.  After graduating from high school, she married her hometown sweetheart, Phil Baldwin.  Together they had three children:  Diane, Doug, and Greg; and eight grandchildren: Shannon, William, Walter, Sean, Daniel, Rachel, David, and Rebekah. Carole also had three children-in-law: Bill, Leslie, and Julie; and two grandchildren-in-law: Linda and Adnan.

Carole loved spending time with her family and enjoyed every occasion when she could whip up a large batch of her potato salad or homemade brownies.  She was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed making quilts, doll clothing, and theatrical costumes.  Carole's frequent moves as a military wife taught her how to bloom where she was planted, and she had a gift for turning any space into a warm and inviting home filled with souvenirs of her travels, photographs of her family, and displays of her artwork.

A funeral service will be scheduled for Arlington National Cemetery, where the ashes of both Phil and Carole Baldwin will be interred.
