Carol Upchurch
Carol F. Jones Upchurch, 67, a resident of Millersville for 34 years, died of complications of cancer Sept. 1 at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore after a lengthy illness.
Born June 28, 1939, in Franklin County, N.C., Mrs. Upchurch was reared in Bunn, N.C.
She was a homemaker and caretaker for her parents and other family members.
Her interests included collecting various knick-knacks.
Surviving are her husband, Otha D. Upchurch, whom she married in 1958; one son, Donald G. Upchurch of Gambrills; two daughters, Janine Upchurch of Glen Burnie and Sherry Mogle of Baltimore; one sister, Lucy Rhodes of Columbia, N.C.; one brother, Harold Jones of Wake Forest, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial are private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
