Upon settling in eastern Pennsylvania, Dr. Stevenson served as the Chief School Administrator in the Stockton School District (N.J) and the Milford School District (N.J.). In 1998, she retired as Principal at Robert Hunter Elementary School in Flemington, N.J. where she had served for eleven years.
