Carlos Enrique Heredia Hurtado, 19, of Arnold, MD, passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2016. Carlos was attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He was born on May 23, 1996 in Montero, Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and was the son of Rodolfo V. Beltran and Patricia Hurtado de Beltran.
Carlos had a beautiful smile, a gentle soul, and an unmatched wit. He was an Eagle Scout and served his community by beautifying a women's home in Baltimore with flower beds. After graduating with honors from Broadneck High School in 2014, he served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he used his talents to touch the lives of many people, young and old. Carlos loved a good challenge and a good meal.
Carlos is survived by his parents, two younger siblings, Samantha, and Rodolfo Jr., and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 5 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and the funeral service will be Wednesday, April 6 at 10 am. Both will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1875 Ritchie Highway, Annapolis, MD 21409. Burial to follow.
