Carleen Sayres, 54, passed away on July 2, 2024 at Anne Arundel Medical Center during surgery. Born in Annapolis, Maryland on January 21, 1970, Carleen was a resident of Annapolis and Arnold MD all of her life. She graduated Annapolis Area Christian School in 1988 and attended Anne Arundel Community College. Carleen and her husband, David, met in Annapolis and were married for 33 years. Carleen was a full-time mom to their 4 children, Jeremy, Eric, Alexander and Lily. In addition to raising her children, Carleen had a love for technology, computer games, and camping with her family. A truly kind soul with a quick wit, she was always a pleasure to be with. She was preceded in death by her son Alexander Sayres. She is survived by her children, Jeremy Sayres, Eric Sayres, and Lily Sayres. Her husband, David Sayres, sister Karen Marshall, brother in law, John Marshall, her parents, Carl and Edythe Smith, nephews Sean Marshall, Kevin Marshall, and Collin Sayres, niece Brooke Sayres, brother and sister in law, Jeffrey and Allison Sayres, mother in law, Janice Sayres.

Services will be private. In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Carleen's name to the SPCA of Annapolis.
