Carla Lee Albright, of Annapolis, Maryland, was born on August 4, 1978, and gained her wings on March 11, 2026. At 47 years old, Carla is now at peace after a long and courageous 17-year battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Carla is survived by her loving parents, Bonnie and Tim Wilson, and Carlos and Suzy Albright; her brother, Eric; her sisters, Ashley, Tricia, Kaitlyn, Trish, and Rachelle; and her cherished nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Owen, Hayden, Lilly, Austin, Maddox, McKenna, Parker, Joseph, Ryan, Hendrix, and Kayli.

She had a special love for animals, especially her two beloved fur babies, Nike and Atlas, who brought her endless joy and companionship.

Some souls are too big and bright for this world to hold - Carla’s was the biggest and the brightest. Her zest for life was contagious, and she lived every day to the absolute fullest. With a vibrant personality that drew people to her instantly, she never met a stranger and always had room in her heart for one more best friend, one more brother or sister, niece or nephew. Her warmth, humor, and genuine kindness made her someone you couldn’t help but love.

Today the world feels a little quieter without her laugh, and a little less bright without her in it. But Carla showed us that joy isn’t something you wait for — it’s something you carry with you.

The space she leaves behind is vast, because that is who she was and how she lived. She will be missed more than words can say.

She lived loudly, loved deeply, and left a light in this world that will never fade.
