Carl Albert Rogge, Jr., 90, of Severna Park, peacefully passed away of natural causes on July 7, 2012 with his family present.
He was born on June 28, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA. Carl was married to Nancy Grinrod Rogge for 71 years, where they lived in Severna Park, since his retirement in 1984.
Carl served 3 years with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He attended Drexel Institute and was an engineer manager with General Electric for 43 years. Carl was also a member of Elfin, The Lions Club and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; son, Dr. Carl E. Rogge and wife, Brenda; and three grandsons, Jeffrey Brian Rogge of Annapolis, MD, Chad Edmund Rogge of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Kyle Winfield Rogge of Manhattan, NY.
A gathering will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. Interment will be private.
