Carl Gray, 74, of Hanover, MD, formerly of Arnold, died March 21 at the Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson, MD.
Born October 29, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA, he also had lived in Irwin, PA.
Mr. Gray was an artist. He received his Bachelors of Fine Art from the University of Pittsburgh. He served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. A member of the Kent Island Federation of Arts and the Maryland Federation of Arts, he also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Udell Gray, he is survived by his sons
Carl James Gray of Leesburg, VA and Padraic William Gray of Hanover, MD, six grandchildren, Bianca, Callie, Sabrina, Carl, Jr, Shane and Jessica, and two brothers, Robert L. Gray of Cincinnati, OH and Donald W. Gray of Sunrise, FL.
There will be a visitation at Barranco & Sons Severna Park Funeral Home on Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 9-10 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew by the Bay.
