C. Lyle Cathcart, 96, a resident of Severna Park, died on October 31, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Baltimore.
He was born on March 9, 1914 in Baltimore, MD.
Mr. Cathcart was preceded in death by his late wife, Rose Marie Cathcart.
He is survived by his wife, Hope Fondersmith of Towson; his son, Creston L. Cathcart (Carol) of St. Michaels; his daughter, Mary Ellen Loock (Robert) of Millersville; his sister, Charolette Davis of PA; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Severna Park United Methodist Church from 9-10 AM, with a service beginning at 10 AM.
Family and friends are asked to meet from 12:30 pm- 1:00 pm for a graveside service at Broad Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bozman, MD (Talbot County).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Severna Park United Methodist Church, 731 Benfield Road, Severna Park, MD 21146.
