Burke P. Watson, of Severna Park, MD, passed away on January 19 ^th , 2020. He was born on September 24, 1924 to Percy and Sigrid Watson in Minneapolis, MN. He served in the United States Army from 1943-1946 and fought in World War II. After his service in the Army he worked for the Chemetal Corporation where he was President of the company at the time of his retirement. Burke was a member of the Chartwell Country Club and enjoyed golfing, sailing and traveling.

He was predeceased by his wife, Bunny Watson; his daughter, Nancy Watson; his son, Bruce Watson; his grandchildren Ryan Watson, Kyle Watson and Christine Vitello; and his brothers Bill Watson and Don Watson.

He is survived by his children, Pat Murray of Edgewater, MD, Mike Watson (Ginni) of Hertford, NC, Joy Phillippi of Highland, MD, Jan Atkinson (Tommy) of Arnold, MD, Scott Watson (Deana) of Berlin, MD, Jay Watson (Angie) of Pasadena, MD and Sheila Barrick (Karl) of Pasadena, MD; his brother Darrell Watson  of Brooklyn Park, MN; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
