Bruce Stanley Karner, 65, of Severna Park, MD, passed away on February 1, 2025. He was born on September 21, 1959 to Lenox and Jo Karner. Together with his two brothers and sister, Bruce grew up in Webster, Massachusetts. He graduated from Johns Hopkins, and had lived in the Baltimore area since.

Bruce owned a small business in Severna Park, Family Floors, for over 35 years.

He was heavily involved with many organizations in the community, including the Providence Center, the Oakleigh Forest Civic Association, and the Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce; the latter of which he served as president in 2001. He most recently embarked on a new path as a salesperson at the Heritage Toyota dealership in Catonsville, Maryland.

Bruce was a wonderful father and a loving husband to his wife Ellen. Their 39th wedding anniversary would have been April 12th. He is survived by Ellen, his sons Bruce and Chris, his daughter Lexi, his mother Jo, his brothers Chuck and Alan, and his sister Sandra.

Bruce was a huge fan of Maryland College Basketball, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Baltimore Ravens, and he enjoyed playing golf in his earlier years. Many cherished summers were spent with his wife, children, and extended family in Wells, Maine.

A Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday February 15, 2025 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie hwy Severna Park, MD 21146.
