Brian L. Brown, 67, of Annapolis, MD, passed away on March 30, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Raised in Lancaster, PA, Brian was the son of Herbert (Herb) Brown and the late Joyce M. (Lindsay) Brown. “Brian brought kindness and warmth into my life every day. He was a good son, and I will miss him more than words can say,” his father shared.

Brian enjoyed experiencing life in different parts of the country, making homes in places such as Baltimore and San Francisco. He spent many years in Sacramento, California, where he loved his work and the people he worked with. He formed many lasting friendships throughout his life before returning to Annapolis, Maryland, to be closer to family.

Brian enjoyed traveling whenever he got the chance, from the beaches of Aruba and Hawaii to the landscapes of New Zealand and Alaska. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and sense of humor, and for the many wonderful memories he created with the friends he gathered throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Brown; his sister, Lynda Lefever; and his cherished “soul cat,” Piper.

He is survived by his father, Herbert Brown; Herb’s wife, Joan Wright Brown; his nephew, Travis Lefever; and many loved ones with whom he shared lasting friendships and deep connections. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Wanda. He is deeply missed.

Services will be held privately at a later date.
