Bonnie Joan Meyers, "Joan", of Annapolis, died on November 8, 2016 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.

She was born in Coco Solo Canal Zone, a U.S. Navy base in Panama, on June 29, 1937. As a child of a Navy Chief Petty Officer, she lived across the country until settling in Annapolis.

Joan worked at the IRS in Annapolis where she met her husband. She later worked at PT Morgan Packaging Co. after raising her children. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Service Organization. Joan loved quilting and reading mystery books.

Joan is survived by her husband, Robert T. "Bob" Meyers; her son, John T. Meyers (Pam); daughter, Mary E. Meyers (Tom McComiskey); brothers, David Gumula (Brenda) and William Gumula; sister, Norine Ripple (Robert); grandchildren, Dana and Connor Meyers; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Severna Park United Methodist Church on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:00 am.
