Blanche Ida Magill Frady of Arnold, MD went home to the Lord on September 30, 2011, after a lengthy illness. Her loving husband, Roger Frady, was at her side.

Blanche was born on May 9, 1935 to John W. and Mabel E. Magill in Suitland, MD, where she also grew up. She graduated from Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, MD. She and Roger (her high school sweetheart) were married on February 25, 1954 on the television show, "Bride and Groom." They lived in Greenbelt, MD, western Baltimore County, MD and, for the past 41 years in Arnold, MD. Blanche retired from Archbishop Spalding High School as the Business Manager. Following retirement, she worked at Guzzi's Gifts in Annapolis, MD.

Blanche was preceded in death by her brother, John (Jack) W. Magill, Jr. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sisters, Doris Parker and Mary Robbins, sister-in-law Julie Nicholson, three daughters, Helen Reed and husband Bo of Sarasota, FL, Debbie Topp and husband Bob of Arnold, MD and Penny Waller and husband Jim of Stevensville, MD and seven grandchildren, J. Clinton Stinchcomb, David Topp, J. Alex Waller Jr. and wife Alyson, Amy Topp, Benjamin Roger Waller, Zachary Ryan Waller and J. Tyler Reed.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 2:30pm at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis on Ridgely Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Greater Maryland Chapter of The Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
