Billie Jo McFee
Billie Jo Gibbons McFee, 71, a resident of Pasadena and previously of Severna Park and Frederick, died of natural causes April 12 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Mrs. McFee was born Aug. 17, 1936, in Louisville, Ky., to the late Prentice Rosco and Lydia Elizabeth Gibbons. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1954.
Mrs. McFee worked briefly at General Electric Appliance Park in Louisville before she and her husband purchased and managed a marina on Watts Bar Lake in Spring City, Tenn., for seven years.
She was a member of Magothy United Methodist Church, the Red Hat Society and the Pasadena Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 45 years, John Kaywood McFee.
Survivors include one son, John K. McFee Jr. of Hartselle, Ala.; three daughters, Kimberly Guinn of Pasadena, Leslie Overholser of Severna Park and Michelle Vardoulakis of Reisterstown; and nine grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Magothy United Methodist Church, 3703 Mountain Road, Pasadena.
Services will also be held in Louisville. Interment will be in Cavehill Cemetery in Louisville.
