Betty B. Ratliff, 80, of Ferndale, died of natural causes April 25 at Fairfield Nursing Home in Crownsville.
Born July 17, 1924, and reared in Annapolis, Mrs. Ratliff lived in Ferndale most of her life. She worked at Westinghouse Corp. on the assembly line her retirement in 1979.
She was very active with Boy Scouts of America.
Her husband, Linkous Edward Ratliff, died in 1999.
Surviving are four children, Judy Pandolfino of Crofton, Edward John Ratliff of Seneca, S.C., William Bennett Ratliff of Baltimore and Betty Louise Leet of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; two sisters, Jacquelin Neyhart of Bethesda and Sue Fowler of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:45 p.m. Monday at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Crownsville, followed by burial. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
