Betty co-owned (with family members) and operated "Seafare, Inc." a fresh seafood and homemade seafood specialties carryout on Benfield Rd., that also catered our local Lions Club, as well as many other catered functions for over 8 years, from 1980 till 1988. After the family sold Seafare, Betty looked after her 5 grandchildren and was a file clerk for Russell Paving Co., another family owned business, until retiring in 2003.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard (2010), her son "Bernie" (Bernard Nakieski, Jr.) (1996), and her grandson Paul Russell (2005).
