Betty Jean Craft of Berlin , MD, passed away on April 17, 2020. She was born on September 17, 1938 to Essig and Elizabeth Young. Betty was born in Staunton, VA but traveled extensively throughout her childhood, living in amazing places including Greece and Panama. Betty enjoyed her many animals and spending time on the beach.

She is survived by her brother David Young, son, Steven Strawn of Annapolis, her daughter, Lorie Moreland of Broadway, NC, her grandson Preston Strawn, her granddaughters, Lorie Strawn-Payne and Valerie Monroe , a s well as her three great-grandchildren , Emaan, Alexa and Truleigh .

Due to the current environment, Services will be private. Later this summer a celebration of life will be held in her honor .
