Betty L. Walter Chisholm passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023. Born in Baltimore Maryland on October 31, 1931 to Frank and Jane Walter. She was the oldest of 7 children. She married Charles Chisholm on May 29, 1950 in Salem, Massachusetts. Together they had four children.

They have lived in Annapolis since 1967. Betty loved to cook, play cards, read and bingo, but mostly loved being with her family. She loved to sing and would sing karaoke whenever she had an opportunity. Betty had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved going out on the boat and just listening to the music. Betty loved her family as she would say with "all her heart." Her grandchildren and her great grandchildren were her true happiness.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Charles Jr; three brothers, Frank Walter Jr., Laurance Walter, and James Walter. She is survived by three children, Kenneth (Joanne), David (Victoria), Gail Chisholm, and daughter in law, Elva; seven grandchildren Kimberly Riley, Kelly Hurd, Kenneth Chisholm Jr, Teresa Currie, Melissa Hargrove, Jennifer Chisholm, and James Bruggy; 14 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren; brothers, Jack Walter, Fred, Walter, and her sister, Darlene Coomes.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday November 29th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park MD, 21146. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday November 30th at 11 am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway Severna Park MD 21146 with burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery 5829 Ritchie Hwy Baltimore MD, 21225.
