Millersville, beloved wife of the late Theodore Norman Walters, loving
mother of Michael F. Walters, Ronald S. Walters and Linda Lee Deems, dear
grandmother of Michael Patrick Walters, loving sister of Walter E. Yent, Jr.
and dear mother-in-law of Allen D. Deems
Friends may visit on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Barranco & Sons,
P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, Funeral Services will be held at the funeral
home on Tuesday at 12:30pm, Interment at Maryland Veterans Cemetery,

Obituary
Elizabeth "Bettie" Anne Walters, 77, a resident of Millersville for forty-two years, died at her daughter's Eastern Shore Home in Stevensville, MD on October 8, 2008 after a one month battle with cancer.
Mrs. Walters was born on June 10, 1931 in Baltimore, MD where she was also raised.
She attended St. Bernard Grade School in Baltimore, and later, Seton High. She was a graduate of Eastern High School. In addition, she lived in Alexandria, Virginia before moving to Millersville.
Mrs. Walters worked as an analyst for the National Security Agency for twelve years. She later worked as the Religious Education Administrator at St. John the Evangelist Church in Severna Park for 27 years, where she was known as, "The CCD Lady."
Mrs. Walters loved shopping, sewing and reading. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and Maryland Church on the Rock in Millersville. She helped serve and feed the homeless.
Mrs. Walters in survived by her two sons, Michael F. Walters of Frederick, MD and Ronald S. Walters of Millersville, MD, her daughter, Linda Lee Deems of Whitehall, MD; her brother, Walter E. Yent, Jr. of Baltimore, MD; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Edward Yent, Sr. and Anna Mary Renner Yent and her husband, Theodore Norman Walters.
A visitation will be held at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:30 pm. The interment will be follow at MD Veterans Cemetery.
