Bernice Rose Shemenski Azzinaro, 90, of Severna Park, died Sept. 1 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie from complications of a recent stroke.

Mrs. Azzinaro was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Beckley, W.Va. and was raised in Bowers Hill, Va. She had also lived in Newport News, Va., Philadelphia, and Norwood, Pa.

She enjoyed listening to music and travel.

Survivors include one son, Charles Azzinaro of Oak Valley, N.J.; one daughter, Rose Cardwell of Norwood; one sister, Helen Kraus of Severna Park; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her husband, William J. Azzinaro died in 1985. She was the grandmother of a deceased grandson.

Services and burial are private. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
