Bernard Paul Naughton, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Severna Park Wednesday, May 24 ^th . Bernie was 85 years young and was born January 7 ^th , 1932 in Pittsburgh where he was raised by his parents, Evelyn and Bernard. He has one surviving brother, George, and 5 sisters…Evelyn Anne, Faith Lee, Ellen, Laura Lee, and Mary Jean. He joins his brothers Charles and Joe in heaven, along with his parents. Married for 61 years on the 4 ^th of July to Grace Adams Naughton, Bernie was the father to Paul, Michael and Christopher, grandfather to Tyler and Nicole Naughton, and uncle and friend to many.

Bernie was a Boston University Engineering graduate, and pursued his masters at Kennedy College in Connecticut and at George Washington University in D.C. He was a Westinghouse retiree of 29 years. He was a Corporal in the Army during the Korean War and was very active with the American Legion. Bernie was a devout Steelers and Red Sox fan, as are his three boys. His wit, humor, generosity and Love will truly be missed, and never forgotten.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
