Bernard Malinowski

Bernard Paul Malinowski, 77, of Arnold, died of heart failure Jan. 29 at home after a brief illness.

Born July 22, 1929, and reared in Baltimore, Mr. Malinowski served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953 and then in the Army from 1954 to 1956.

He worked for Central Medical Center as comptroller for eight years and then for Arinc as an accountant for six years.

He was a former member of the Silver Leaf Club. His interests included reading and sports, especially watching the Colts and Baltimore Orioles.

Surviving are his wife, Jane Malinowski; one step-daughter, Cindy Jolliffe of Huntingtown; one stepson, James Meyerhoeffer of Dover, Del.; two brothers, William Malinowski of Edgemere and Timothy Malinowski of Sparrows Point; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, 7305 German Hill Road in Dundalk.
