Bernard William Walker (Bernie), age 72, of Severna Park, Maryland on September 1, 2015 died after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Tina, his stepdaughter, Mary Beth Houseman/Tony and their sons Billy (Elisa) & Brett, his goddaughters Katie Faith Lackl/Willy and their sons William and Josh, and Hope Lackl and her son Ashton. He is also survived by his siblings Charles/Malou, Julie/Bruce, Tommy/Mary, Cass/Mike, Trish/Bob, Chris, Matt/Phyllis and their children and grandchildren.

Bernie was a father figure to his many family members and as such provided love and support to all. He is remembered for his generosity and humor.

He is also remembered for his lifelong love of learning which he encouraged and nurtured with the family. He received multiple degrees from Johns Hopkins University and University of Maryland and also obtained his CPA. His professional life consisted of positions as an Electrical Engineer and a CPA.

He enjoyed photography, fishing, family gatherings and pursuing his Irish roots. He was a loving, giving individual and will be missed by his family and his many friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 4, 2015 at 11:00am at the Severna Park United Methodist Church 731 Benfield Rd. Severna Park, MD 21146.

Interment will be a private burial.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Timonium MD 21093.
