Bernadette Sloskey (nee Connolly), 66, a 38-year resident of Annapolis, died on Feb. 13, 2009 at home, due to natural causes.
She was born on Jan. 26, 1943 in Bristol, Penn, where she was raised.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Sloskey was a member of St. Andrew By the Bay Catholic Church in Annapolis. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, cooking and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Stephan F. Sloskey, whom she married November 30, 1963; three sons, Stephan F. Sloskey II of Lancaster, Penn., David Sloskey of Cape St. Claire, and Richard Sloskey of Bowie; sister, Jacqueline Kucera of Green Bay, Wis; one brother, Joseph Connolly of Levittown, Penn.; one sister, Geraldine Goldschmidt of Bechtelsville, Penn.; and five grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Tues., Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tues., Feb. 17 at 11:00 am at St. Andrew By the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Pkwy, Annapolis, MD 21409. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
